Highly Reliable. HP PageWide technology is a simple imaging system, consisting of an array of user-replaceable print heads, which print directly on media. No heat is produced in the process – heat degrades electronics and mechanical components. PageWide XL is more like a computer that can print. Internal sensors detect the root cause of a problem and an automated diagnostic process identifies the most likely resolution path for the support provider to follow. HP’s periodic maintenance is key to PageWide’s reliability. HP Certified Service Techs actually install a PMK (preventative maintenance kit) when notified by the printer. The kits replace parts that have the most wear, for instance, a cutter, before they actually cause a problem and unplanned down time. |

| 2. | A single device for printing vivid color, true grayscale, black & white. You no longer need to maintain a fast toner-based printer for B&W prints and a slow, inkjet for color prints. HP PageWide XL prints both color and B&W (or true grayscale) prints. | |
